1. EVENT: HOLIDAY GLAM PARTY

On November 16th we hosted our very first Holiday Glam Party. This event was all about helping you get your glam on for the coming holidays. We invited makeup queen Kat Garcia to demo a simple Holiday makeup look while hair stylist Samantha Solis showed us how to create effortless waves (pictured on our model Brenda Treviño above). It was a night filled with shopping, glam, and tasty wine! Can't wait to throw similar events in the future.

2. LOCAL SPOT: BODEGA TAVERN & KITCHEN

This month we had a brunch date with our favorite girls Brenda (@trendytrevi) and Allison (@thestylishsoul) at Bodega Tavern & Kitchen and it was SO YUM. It was our first time there and we were so impressed with the interior design of the restaurant (so many Instagram worthy backdrops!), not to mention our food was delicious. We recommend this spot if you want to enjoy a nice dinner and drinks night with your friends in a place with good looks and even better ambience. Like them on Facebook here.  

3. BLOGGER: @IMJENNIM

We've had a girlcrush on Jenn Im for YEARS. She is one of the OG Youtube fashion bloggers, her channel clothesencounters has over 2 million subscribers. What we love about Jenn's style is that it has multiple facets. She's the perfect blend of edgy, girly, and streetstyle- you can't just pin her to one. That's exactly what we try to accomplish here at The Style Union. In fact, ever since we started we consider Jenn Im to be our "ideal customer". When we buy items for the store we always ask ourselves "Would Jenn Im rock this??" Recently, she launched her own clothing line, Eggie, and everything about it is #goals for us. 4. TREND: I.AM.GIA 

What do you get when you mix cargo pants, chains, cyber goth vibes, and structured crop tops? I.AM.GIA, of coarse. This label is sooo trendy right now and can be seen on celebrities like Bella Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian, and a plethora of IG baddies. We are obsessed with how edgy and unique it is, and lets be honest.. how many of us ever thought we would be lusting over cargo pants?! My guess is not many, but here we are. 5. MUSIC: MAJID JORDAN - THE SPACE BETWEEN

Toronto based R&B duo, Majid Jordan, released their new album "The Space Between" on October 27th and we have been blasting it nonstop all November long. Throw on this album when you want to have a lowkey dance session or on those days when you want to have a karaoke party of one in your car.  Our favorite songs are Gave Your Love Away, OG Heartthrob, and Body Talk.
